【営業再開のお知らせ】

奥定山渓カムイの森では、2026年6月25日(木)に発生した自然災害の影響および施設内での
ヒグマ確認を受け、お客様の安全を最優先に、同日より臨時休業し、施設全域の点検・調査・復旧作業を行ってまいりました。

2026年7月2日(木)には、札幌市環境局環境都市推進部環境共生担当課による現地調査が実施され、
目撃されたヒグマの推定経路に、誘引物や新たな痕跡がないことを確認いたしました。
これらの確認結果と、施設内の安全管理体制の見直し・復旧対応を踏まえ、
必要な対策を継続したうえで、2026年7月9日(木)午前10時より営業を再開いたします。

＜再開後の継続的な安全管理について＞
① 電気柵の点検・更新および電圧管理
施設全域の電気柵およびケーブルの点検・更新を行い、通常時は約6,000V〜8,000Vを維持するよう管理しております。電圧異常を確認した場合は、速やかに確認・対応を行います。
② 音によるヒグマへの忌避対策
朝・昼・夕に、爆竹等を用いた音による忌避対策を行います。
また、秋の果物収穫期には、必要に応じて爆音機を設置し、8:00〜16:00の間で定期的に作動させます。
③ 監視カメラによる確認体制
施設外周を中心に、24時間対応の監視カメラを複数箇所に設置し、異常の有無を継続的に確認できる体制を整えております。
④ 職員による定期巡回
営業前・営業中・営業後を含め、職員による施設内外の定期巡回を継続して行います。

＜ご利用のお客様へのお願い＞
① 持ち込み食材・ゴミの管理について
ヒグマを誘引する可能性があるため、持ち込み食材およびゴミは施設内に残さず、必ずお持ち帰りください。
② 電気柵より外側へ出ないでください
安全確保のため、電気柵より外側へ出ての散策・撮影・移動はお控えください。
③ スタッフの案内にご協力ください
場内では、スタッフの案内および安全管理上の指示にご協力をお願いいたします。

長期間の臨時休業により、ご予約をいただいていたお客様、ご来園を予定されていた皆様には、多大なるご不便とご心配をおかけいたしました。
今後もお客様の安全を第一に、必要な管理と確認を継続しながら営業してまいります。

【Notice of Reopening】
Okujozankei Kamuy no Mori had been temporarily closed since Thursday, June 25, 2026, following damage caused by a natural hazard and the confirmation of a brown bear within the premises. During the closure, we have prioritized the safety of our guests and have conducted inspections, investigations, and restoration work throughout the facility.

On Thursday, July 2, 2026, an on-site inspection was carried out by the Environmental Coexistence Section of the Environmental City Promotion Department, Sapporo City Environmental Bureau. During this inspection, it was confirmed that there were no attractants or new signs of the bear along the estimated route where the brown bear had been observed.

Based on these findings, as well as the review of our safety management system and restoration work within the facility, we will reopen on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM, while continuing to implement the necessary safety measures.

＜Ongoing Safety Measures After Reopening＞
① Inspection, renewal, and voltage management of electric fences
We have inspected and renewed the electric fences and cables throughout the facility. Under normal conditions, the voltage is maintained at approximately 6,000V to 8,000V. If any voltage irregularity is detected, we will check and respond promptly.
② Sound-based bear deterrent measures
We will use sound-based deterrent measures, such as firecracker-type sounds, in the morning, around noon, and in the evening.
During the autumn fruit harvest season, noise deterrent devices may also be installed as necessary and operated regularly between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
③ Monitoring with surveillance cameras
Several 24-hour surveillance cameras have been installed mainly around the outer perimeter of the facility. We will continue to monitor the area for any signs of irregularities.
④ Regular patrols by staff
Our staff will continue to carry out regular patrols inside and around the facility before opening, during business hours, and after closing.

＜Requests to Our Guests＞
① Management of food and trash
Food and trash may attract brown bears. Please do not leave any food, leftovers, or trash inside the facility. Please take all of them with you when you leave.
② Please do not go beyond the electric fence boundary
For your safety, please do not walk, take photos, or move beyond the electric fence boundary.
③ Please follow staff instructions
While inside the facility, please follow the guidance and safety instructions provided by our staff.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused to guests who had made reservations or were planning to visit during the temporary closure.
We will continue to place guest safety as our highest priority and operate the facility while maintaining the necessary safety management and monitoring measures.
